Details: Short description In 1192, Diethelm von Toggenburg founded the Bubikon Commandery in the Zurich Oberland for the Knights Hospitaller. The permanent exhibition at the Commandery, dedicated to its eventful history, was recently redesigned by historian Markus Brühlmeier. On the occasion of this renovation, Brühlmeier, in collaboration with artist Frida Bünzli, conceived this comic, which uses pointed stories to examine the daily lives of the knights and their serfs. The information was gathered from historical records and documents. Based on these specifications, but with the freedoms of a comic artist, Frida Bünzli developed the individual stories.
