Details: Short description 1991. Jim has married Bianca and now lives with her on his farm in Kansas. But one question keeps haunting him: What happened to his little brother Joey? He had once been adopted by a Mexican family in a small town called Cowpoke Canyon. And Lisa, who was not even meant for adoption, was also held there against her will. About the author and other contributors The Frenchman Philippe Charlot (b. 1960) is a professional musician (guitar, vocals) and a founding member of the trio La Fabrique à Swing, which is dedicated to European swing of the 1930s and 40s. He wrote his first comic texts from 2009 for volumes 4 and 5 of the series Game Over, drawn by Adam and Midam, as well as for the stories designed by various authors in A vous Cognacq-Jay: Les grandes heures de la télévision en BD. Together with the artist Alexis Chabert, he united his two passions (music and writing) in 2011 in the two albums of the Bourbon Street series. The one-shot Harmonijka (2012), drawn by Miras, also has a musical background, telling the story of harmonica player Greg Zlap, who accompanied Johnny Hallyday on his tour in 1966. In 2012, Charlot also launched two other new series: Karma Salsa together with scriptwriter Joël Callède and artist Frédéric Campoy. And the two-part series Orphan Train, published by Piredda Verlag, together with The Legend of the Changeling artist Xavier Fourquemin. Xavier Fourquemin (b. 1970) was born in France but moved to Belgium in 1991, where he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tournai. There he attended courses with Antonio Cossu and graduated four years later. In February 1996, his first comic story was published: "L'immonde Bête" was four pages long and appeared in the magazine "Gotham". He then worked with scriptwriter Dieter and created the series Alban (1997) and Outlaw (2001). In 2007, he also created Miss Endicott (scripts: Jean-Christophe Derrien) before starting The Legend of the Changeling in 2008. This series, written by Pierre Dubois, revolves around little Peter, nicknamed Scrubby, who moves between two worlds: on the one hand, in the real streets of late 19th-century London, where he is forced to move with his family, and on the other hand, in the fantastic universe of fairies, where countless gnomes, nymphs, goblins, hobgoblins, trolls and many others cavort. Finally, in 2012, together with scriptwriter Philippe Charlot, he launched the Orphan Train series, which is about the reunion of two orphans who meet again after a long time and come to terms with their past.
