Details: In the last few LTB issues, there was usually only one mouse story. While that's still the case in volume 434, this one is a real treat: Mickey fans can look forward to a 72-page Dracula parody by Bruno Enna and Fabio Celoni! The cover story is also notably long: with "The Oracle of the Mayas," Fausto Vitaliano and Giorgio Cavazzano address the predicted doomsday for December across 50 pages. Additionally, there's an O.M.A. story (as always by Lars Jensen and Flemming Andersen) and another story featuring Sergei Schlamassi, who already appeared in the last volume. Corrado Mastantuono – once again author and illustrator in one – has him encounter Phantomias this time. Other characters making a larger appearance again are Gyro Gearloose (last seen in LTB 426) and Donald's butler, Baptiste.
