Details: Short Description This final volume solves the mystery of Susan's enigmatic disappearance. In addition, characters from previous adventures once again play an important role. The complete Frank Lincoln edition is rounded off by eight editorial pages, which feature various sketches and photographic documents. These illustrations, selected by Marc Bourgne, are exclusively included in the German edition. About the Author and Other Contributors Marc Bourgne (b. 1967) was born in Versailles. He completed his four-year history degree at the Sorbonne in 1989 with a thesis on Alaska. It was therefore not entirely by chance that his first comic series, Être-Libre (1992), was set in the vast expanses of North America. A few years later, Bourgne created a comic book history of Monaco: The album L'Histoire de Monaco was published in 1997. The following year, he was asked if he would be interested in revitalizing the classic pirate series Der Rote Korsar (The Red Corsair). This resulted in a total of four volumes with screenwriter Christian Perrissin. Alongside this, he also worked in advertising, illustrated company publications, and conducted interviews on the topic of comics for a weekly radio show in the Paris area. Finally, in 1999, he received an offer from the French publisher Glénat to start his own series. Happy to be able to write his own scenarios more frequently again, Bourgne started the detective series Frank Lincoln, the first album of which was published in France and Belgium in August 2000. Since 2012, he has also been the artist for the new adventures of racing driver Michel Vaillant. Marc Bourgne (b. 1967) was born in Versailles. Eillam (b. 1979), whose real name is Brice Mallié (he is Vincent Mallié's brother), lives in the Paris area. After an artistic education, he initially illustrated children's books for the French publishers Koutchoulou and Magnart-Vuibert. His first comic, American Trip, was created with screenwriter Christophe Pernoud. Originally planned as a two-part road movie, it was released in 2009 by Bamboo as a complete edition with almost 100 pages. In 2011, Eillam, who cites Jean Giraud, Régis Loisel, and Olivier Vatine as his role models, began assisting Marc Bourgne with the drawings for his Frank Lincoln series.
