On 48 pages, Belgian cartoonist Dany (i.e., Daniel Henrotin) unleashes a first-class gag fireworks display. It's logical that it's all about the most beautiful thing in the world: sex. Dany understands like no other how to turn everyday situations around love into funny anecdotes. His women always have big, full breasts, long legs, flowing manes, and a pout that you just want to kiss. For example, you can observe the young girl who is about to take her own life with a pistol. But she realizes that such a weapon can be used for many other things. Or the blind man who mistakes his air mattress for an inflatable doll on the beach. Then there's also the Corsican father who demands a lot from the chauffeur before he lets his daughter get into his car. Oh la la! is certainly the right title for this concentrated dose of humor and sex, and it also helped the cartoonist achieve great fame in Germany in 1992. This was followed by the volumes Interesse? (Interested?), Noch mehr? (More?), Schäm Dich! (Shame on You!), and Wo endet das? (Where Does That End?), all published by B&L Verlag and no less good than the present one. Dany, born in 1943, began his career in 1968 with the series Oliver & Columbine, together with scriptwriter Greg (i.e., Michel Regnier). In the meantime, he worked on various projects that were less successful.
