In addition to comics, Carlos Sampayo also writes novels and works as a music critic. José Muñoz, born in Buenos Aires in 1942. In the early 1970s, he moved to Europe. With the crime stories about "Alack Sinner," José Muñoz established his unadorned, expressive drawing style, for which he was honored both at the Comic-Salon Erlangen and with the "Grand Prix de la Ville d’Angoulême," the most important award in European comics.
