At the age of fifteen, he was allowed to attend an art high school, a privilege at the time. After graduating, Rosinski went to Warsaw, where he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts. After completing his studies, Rosinski initially worked as an illustrator of books and record covers, and it was not until 1968 that he published his first comics, \"Kpt. Sbik\" and \"Kpt. Kloss\". In 1976, Rosinski became the artistic director of the magazine \"Relax\", a comic magazine for children and teenagers, and in December of the same year, he published several of his short stories in the Belgian magazine \"Spirou\", for which he drew \"La Croisière Fantastique\" the following year. Also in 1976, Rosinski met Jean van Hamme, who was to become his most important scenarist from then on. The result of this collaboration could be read in \"Tintin\" as early as March 1977, where the first episode of \"Thorgal\" was published. Just four years later, \"Thorgal\" was the most popular series in \"Tintin\", the first awards were received, and there is no end in sight for the series even today. In addition, the series \"Hans\", written by Duchâteau, was created in 1980. In 1982, Rosinski and his family left Poland and moved to Belgium. Today he lives in Switzerland. Although Rosinski is a master in the use of color, he prefers black and white. Together with van Hamme, \"The Great Power of the Small Schninkel\" was created, a self-contained comic novel that was published in \"(A Suivre)\" starting in 1986 and won the Audience Award in Angoulême in 1989. After that, Rosinski was only unfaithful to \"Thorgal\" one more time: In 1993, he sharpened his pen for Jean Dufaux, whose scenario for \"The Lost Land\" was nevertheless disappointing.\n\nJean Van Hamme is one of the most prolific, successful, and popular comic authors of today. Born in 1939, he wrote his first comic scenario in 1968 with the erotic volume \"Epoxy\", drawn by Paul Cuvelier. This was followed by series such as \"Corentin\", \"Magellan\", \"Domino\", the long-running fantasy series \"Thorgal\" (from 1977) and the epic \"The Great Power of the Small Schninkel\" (both with artist Grzegorz Rosinski). In 1983, Van Hamme started the agent thriller \"XIII\" in collaboration with artist William Vance, probably the most popular European comic crime series. In addition to scenarios for \"The Joker\" and \"Adventures Without Heroes\" (with Dany) as well as \"Largo Winch\" (with Philippe Francq), he revitalized the \"Blake and Mortimer\" series by Edgar P. Jacobs with artist Ted Benoît, whose volume \"The Francis Blake Affair\" ushered in the great renaissance of the two classic heroes.\n\nShort Description\n\nThorgal and Aaricia, together with their young son Jolan, have retreated to an uninhabited island to live a life free from violence and fear. But one day, Alinoe appears from Jolan's dreams, a green-haired goblin whom the boy had only wished for as a playmate.
