As a result, he loses the groceries he bought at the butcher's, which puts him in a terrible mood. The next day, he has an idea and recharges the robot on wheels from volume 8. Refreshed, the triangular pal named Viktor once again enters the scene. Instead of the usual one-page gags or short stories, this album features, for a change, a single, self-contained adventure spanning 46 pages.
About the author and other contributors
Dupa (i.e. Luc Dupanloup, 1945-2000) began his career as an artist as an assistant to Greg, then editor-in-chief of "Tintin" magazine, and initially worked on the realization of several series, including Achille Talon (German: Albert Enzian by Ehapa and Carlsen). In 1968, Greg commissioned him to create a new gag character that was urgently needed for "Tintin". Dupa then drew a large, hairy ball with paws and gave it a good-natured appearance. Just fifteen minutes later, the first sketch was finished! But what should this new creature be called? The name of a bone wouldn't be bad, as it seemed to be a dog. So Dupa consulted a reference work and took the name Cubitus (i.e. the forearm bone) from an anatomical drawing... Between 1968 and 1970, Dupa also created several short stories about the little country boy Petit Biniou in Greg's style. And from 1971 to 1976, he also took over the Chlorophylle series created by Raymond Macherot, with scenarios by Greg and Bob de Groot. In addition, Dupa created the red-haired truck driver Niky (German in "Yps") in 1980. However, Cubitus proved to be his greatest success, appearing first in "Felix" magazines (under the name "Hannibal") on this side of the Rhine and then establishing himself in "ZACK" magazine from 1973, where he later even became the editorial mascot. In Germany, 14 Cubitus albums were published by Carlsen Comics and two volumes by Phoenix Verlag. In 1988, over 100 animated episodes for television were broadcast in Germany on SuperRTL. At the end of October 2000, Dupa suffered a stroke and finally died shortly thereafter at the age of only 55 in a hospital near Brussels.

EAN: 9783941279056

Languages: German

Binding: Paperback

Item Condition: Collectible - Like New

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0797/3791/3681/products/51DRPp476eL_d4330301-c789-4d4e-8b3d-72a6327d8867.jpg?v=1709548959
